Daria — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Daria mobile application ("Daria", "the app", "we"). By downloading or using Daria, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Daria is

Daria is a language-learning app for travelers. It teaches spoken, real-world phrases organized in the order a trip happens, with audio, practice scenes and spaced review. Content is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Accounts

You can use Daria without an account. If you sign in (with Apple or Google), we store your learning progress against that account so it can be restored on a new device. You are responsible for the security of your sign-in method. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Parts of Daria require a paid subscription ("Daria Premium"). Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms:

Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer or otherwise misuse the app or its content, and not to use the app in any unlawful way.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its content, characters, artwork, audio and branding are owned by the Daria developer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app.

6. Disclaimers

Daria is provided "as is". We work hard to keep phrases accurate and natural, but we do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, and we are not liable for the consequences of using any phrase in the real world. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months.

7. Changes

We may update the app and these Terms. Material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
